Mr. Sood is a Consultant ENT, Head and Neck Surgeon.
His practice is based at the Spire Hospital, Harpenden and Cobham Clinic, Luton. He regularly accepts referrals from the Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London.
Mr. Sood provides a full range of general adult and Children’s’ ENT services. He treats all Ear, Nose and Throat conditions in adults and children, and has a special interest in Head and Neck Surgery, Thyroid and Voice Surgery. He is a core member of regional thyroid, head and neck cancer Multidisciplinary Team.
Mr. Soods’ NHS post is at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital (Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust). Mr Sood is a good communicator, organised, conscientious, empathetic and make patients feel cared for, and persistently advocates for his patients.

Our pricing structure is built to be affordable for everyone and is very competitive to market.
OUTPATIENT APPOINTMENTS
Self-paying
The cost of an initial consultation is £200 and any follow-up consultation is £150.
Your outpatient examination may involve a procedure, which will be itemised on your bill. You may also receive a separate bill from The Cobham Clinic or The Spire Hospital for any procedure performed during an outpatient examination.
Insured Patients
Mr. Sood is recognised by all relevant insurance companies. He adheres to the fee schedule recognised by the insurance companies.
Please obtain authorization from your insurance company and bring all relevant insurance policy details with you to your appointment. If we have all of your details, your insurance company will be invoiced directly. Please note that insurance policy details vary between companies and some policies will not cover all outpatient procedures.
SURGERY
Self-paying
Mr. Sood will explain the full details of any surgical procedure with you.
After your consultation you will receive a fully itemised quote for your surgery with full details of how to proceed with a booking, payment advice and contact details.
Insured Patients
You should ensure that your insurance company is kept fully informed of any surgical procedures that are booked for you. Mr. Sood will supply you with the relevant procedure code that your insurance company may require.
Your insurance company will be invoiced directly.
N.B. Please note that insurance companies will not cover the cost of cosmetic procedures.

GP referral is not mandatory to book an appointment. You can self refer.
Question 3? How much will I be charged for an appointment?
Answer 3
If you are a self paying patient, an initial appointment charge invoice will be sent to you by post. If during appointment you require procedures like endoscopy, ear cleaning, nasal cautery etc, additional charges may have to be paid but you will be explained during your appointment.
